The Stylesmiths London is bringing a modern classic sensibility to a collection of Boutique Hotel apartments in Sloane Square. Crafting interiors of a boutique hotel with the ease of everyday living, the project explores how interior design can make compact London hotel rooms feel welcoming, elegant and complete.
The brief centres on lasting appeal: interiors with a timeless aesthetic, carefully planned layouts and durable finishes. Designed with premium living in mind, the apartments will balance comfort and character with the practical demands of serviced accommodation and longer-term letting.
The initial concepts offer a glimpse of that direction. Soft ivory walls and decorative mouldings frame warm timber tones, sculptural furniture and brass accents. Herringbone flooring introduces pattern beneath a restrained palette, while textured upholstery, generous curtains and abstract artwork bring softness and depth. The mood is calm and inviting, with enough contrast to give each space definition.
In the living areas, classic architectural detailing sits alongside contemporary silhouettes. A timber-framed sofa, rounded occasional tables and sculptural wall lights suggest a room that feels carefully composed without being overly formal. Kitchens carry the same warmth through timber cabinetry and expressive, marble-effect surfaces, creating a visual connection between cooking, relaxing and entertaining.
Making each apartment work beautifully is central to the design approach. The concepts explore open shelving as a way to define sleeping and living areas while allowing light and views to pass through. Furniture proportions, storage and circulation will be considered together, making efficient use of the available space while preserving a comfortable sense of openness.
The bathroom concept continues the hotel-inspired atmosphere through pale finishes, brass-toned fittings and softly illuminated mirrors. Traditional detailing is paired with clean-lined elements, creating a space that feels connected to the wider apartment. In the lobby staircase concept, warm timber panelling, a tailored runner and patterned flooring extend that design language beyond the private rooms.
Behind the aesthetic is an equally considered approach to specification. Materials, furniture and fittings will be assessed for their appearance, durability and cost, supporting interiors that can stand up to regular use and retain their appeal over time. For a serviced accommodation development, these decisions are essential to balancing the resident experience with long-term value for the owner.
At Sloane Square, our ambition is to create apartments that feel immediately welcoming and remain a pleasure to live in. Modern classic interiors, thoughtful space planning and the comfort of a boutique hotel will shape the next chapter of this London project.
