An office-showroom that deviates away from the conventional, ‘behind glass’ retail arrangement, this interior design project heroes the unique experience of trying on watches that are inspired by the surrounding city. Taking cues from the brand’s values and origins, The Stylesmiths™ worked to conceive a design that would encapsulate the product in the first physical manifestation of the company’s successful online presence.
Our design brief stipulated a masculine energy that is as timeless as the watches on display. As such, this flagship showroom has been layered with blues, chestnut browns and matte black finishes that work in harmony with the strong materiality, chosen to compliment the robust nature of a quality timepiece. Central to the design and décor style, large photographs display the five most popular models, driving home the focus of this retail interior.
Rich with nautical and industrial elements, such as exposed brickwork, timber beams and wooden floorboards, the space refuses to feel stark or new, instead offering a comforting feeling that welcomes customers in through the door. Layered further with hints of the past in vintage maps, the watches on display blend into the landscape, encapsulating how effortlessly each design element talks to one another.
