Informed by the architectural character of Hampstead, Chelsea, and Marylebone, this London residence reinterprets the charm of Tudor Revival homes with a refined, contemporary sensibility. The Stylesmiths transformed the interiors not through structural overhaul, but through carefully considered interior design that layers heritage character with personal expression.
The brief called for a sanctuary: a soulful, welcoming home for a mother and her young son. Inspired by the richly patterned interiors of historic British houses, the scheme embraces a palette of soft blues and leafy greens. Pattern became the connective thread—celebrated in wallpapers, rugs, upholstery, and cushions—each space offering its own rhythm while maintaining harmony across the home.
Texture adds depth and warmth. Rattan and timber furniture ground the scheme, offsetting the crisp white fireplace and bay windows framing verdant garden views. Custom soft furnishings—tailored sofas, chairs, and upholstered bedheads—introduce comfort and elegance, while playful sculptural accents, such as a gold palm lamp, lend a touch of modern glamour. Vintage artworks and family pieces were seamlessly integrated, anchoring the design with authenticity.
The result is a home that reflects both London’s heritage architecture and The Stylesmiths’ ethos of luxury residential interiors—a retreat of calm, intimacy, and collected charm. A project where history, craft, and personality converge to create a haven filled with warmth and soul.
